HB02 has a delicate cabled raglan shaping emphasizes the beautifully fitted shape. According to Halla, this cardigan is perfect for those of us who are constantly taking something off only to put it back on again. It is light and compact and therefore easy to pack; it is the kind of a trusted garment one always keeps at hand.

The body is worked flat and the button band is worked simultaneously on smaller needles.
The sleeves are worked in the round.

YARN:
All Einrúm E qualities. The pictured cardigan is knitted in color 1004.
Sizes: S(M) 200g=4 skeins /L(XL) 250g =5 skeins

NEEDLES:
4mm (US sizes 6) circular 40cm needle.
4 and 4.5mm (US sizes 6 and 7), circular 80cm needles.
Sets of four or five 4 and 4,5mm (US sizes 6 and 7) double pointed needles. Cable needed.

GAUGE, Stocking stitch:
10cm = 19 sts
10cm = 24 rows

MEASUREMENTS: S(M)L(XL)
Half bust width: 44(47)50(53)cm
Body length to underarms: 42(45)48(51)cm
Sleeve length to underarms: 47(48)50(51)cm

METHOD:
The body is worked flat and the button band is worked simultaneously on smaller needles.
The sleeves are worked in the round.
Sleeves and body are joined on one circular needle at the armholes and the yoke is worked flat with raglan shaping according to raglan pattern.
Neckband, button band and ribbing on body and sleeves are worked in moss stitch.
